2. Website hosting and technical access data
This website is deployed using IONOS Deploy Now. The website source code is maintained in a GitHub repository.
When visitors access the website, technical information may be processed to deliver the requested content, maintain security and troubleshoot technical problems. Depending on the service and configuration, this may include the requested page or file, access time, browser information, operating system information, referrer information and IP address.
IONOS provides hosting and related infrastructure services. The specific data processed, retention periods and any recipients depend on the applicable services and configuration.
Where applicable, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, namely our legitimate interest in providing a secure, stable and functional website.
Further information is available in the IONOS Privacy Policy:

3. Website statistics — IONOS Deploy Now
This website uses the visitor statistics functionality provided by IONOS Deploy Now. According to the official IONOS documentation, the statistics are generated from server log files and do not read or set cookies.
IONOS states that the visitor's IP address is transmitted when a page is requested and anonymised immediately after transmission. The statistics are then processed without personal reference.
Depending on the service, the information evaluated may include:
- Referrer (previously visited website)
- Requested website or file
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system
- Device type
- Time of access
- Anonymised IP address, used to determine the approximate location of access
The purpose of this processing is to evaluate website usage and support the technical optimisation of the website.
Where applicable, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in understanding website usage and maintaining and improving our online presence.
Further information is available in the official IONOS Deploy Now documentation:

4. Cookies, local storage and external resources
According to the technical audit of the website build, the website does not intentionally use cookies, local storage or session storage. It does not include analytics or advertising trackers in its website code, apart from the IONOS Deploy Now visitor statistics described above.
The website's fonts are hosted locally. They are not intended to be requested from Google Fonts or another external font provider.
The social media icons on the website are ordinary external links. They do not automatically load the respective social media platforms. The relevant third-party website is accessed when a visitor clicks a link.
The technical behaviour of the published website should be checked again after deployment, particularly if new integrations or features are added.
This section concerns the website itself and does not describe the separate Balloony mobile games.
5. Contact by email
If you contact JOID Games by email, we process the information you provide to handle and respond to your enquiry. This may include your email address, name, message content, attachments and related correspondence.
The email accounts used by JOID Games are provided through IONOS Mail Basic.
Depending on the nature of the enquiry, processing may be based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to perform a contract, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR where it is necessary for our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and managing business communications.
Emails are retained for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and, where applicable, to comply with legal retention obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The applicable retention period depends on the circumstances of the correspondence.

6. External links and social media
This website contains links to external services, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn.
These are ordinary links. Merely displaying a link does not, by itself, mean that the linked platform is automatically contacted. If you click a link, you leave this website and the privacy policy of the relevant third-party provider applies to your subsequent use of its service.
We do not control the data processing practices of external providers.
7. Previously released Balloony mobile games
JOID Games previously released mobile versions of Balloony. These games are no longer commercially available through the relevant stores, although previously installed copies may remain on users' devices.
The historical privacy policy for the Balloony app identified the following services as optional integrations or service providers:
- Unity
- Unity Analytics
- Unity Personalized Ads
- Unity In-App Purchases (IAP)
- Google Play Services
- Google Play Games Services for Android
- Apple
- Apple Game Center for iOS
The historical policy also described error-related log data that could include an IP address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, date and time of use, and other statistics.
These statements reflect the historical privacy policy. They do not establish that every service was enabled in every game version or that any particular service remains active today.
Depending on the services actually integrated and enabled in a particular version, third-party providers may process technical device information, identifiers, gameplay or usage information, purchase-related information, advertising-related information or error data. The exact categories depend on the version and its implementation.
For information about the processing carried out by third-party services, users may consult the relevant providers' privacy policies:
- Unity: https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy
- Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Apple: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
The services used, data processed, legal bases, retention periods, recipients and international transfers for each legacy game version have not been independently verified for this policy. Historical integrations should not be interpreted as confirmation that the services are currently active.
8. Data recipients and international transfers
Depending on the relevant processing activity, personal data may be processed by hosting providers, email providers or third-party services integrated into a legacy mobile game.
The actual providers and any applicable international transfers depend on the relevant service and configuration. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the applicable legal transfer mechanism and safeguards must be determined and disclosed where required.
9. Data retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by applicable law.
The specific retention periods depend on the type of data and the processing activity. Technical access data, website statistics, email correspondence and data processed by third-party services in legacy mobile games may be subject to different retention periods.
Where a specific retention period cannot be stated, the criteria used to determine it depend on the relevant service and processing purpose.
10. Your data protection rights
Subject to the conditions and limitations provided by applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to personal data concerning you.
- Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Request erasure of personal data.
- Request restriction of processing.
- Receive personal data in a portable format where the legal requirements are met.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise applicable rights, contact contact@joidgames.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
11. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes applicable data protection law.
The competent authority depends on the circumstances, including the controller's actual establishment and the processing concerned.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the website, our services or our data-processing practices change.
The date shown at the top indicates when this version was prepared. It should be updated when the published policy is materially revised.
